Which American city has the dietary smarts, the culture and the top chefs? Cooking Light magazine came up with a list of the 20 best cities to eat right and enjoy it. A few of the criteria items (there were 15 overall) were restaurant ratings, the number of farmers' markets, good health among residents and highly praised food professionals. Metropolitan cities Las Vegas, Austin, Chicago, Denver and San Francisco made the list.
