Wall Street Journal: Separating Good White Zins From Plain Old Sugar Water

White Zinfandel gets a bad rap in the wine world, but that doesn't seem to stop Americans from drinking it -- 20 million cases were consumed in the United States last year. Wall Street Journal reporters Dorothy J. Gaiter and John Brecher say "if you're going to drink White Zinfandel, and a heck of a lot of people are, you should drink a good one." They rate White Zins on a scale that ranges from yech ("tastes like asparagus") to delicious ("nice weight and presence.")
