Aluminum Foil
The dull and shiny side of aluminum foil can help out when cooking and storing foods. The shiny side is a better conductor of heat and cold, so, when wrapping foods to keep in the refrigerator, wrap with the shiny side out so that warmer temperatures are reflected away from the food. Likewise, if you're cooking, it may take a little longer with the shiny side out.
